Remember me, my God,
When I am left alone,
Surrounded by my enemies
A hundred miles from home.
And strengthen me my God,
When I can’t string my bow,
When trembling hands and trembling heart
My will, would overthrow,

Then I will wait patiently,
For you will you hear my cry,
And lift me from the pit where I would die
If you were not my rock,
My fortress and salvation
To fill my tongue with praise
And sing of all Your ways

Deliver me, my God,
When my heart is failing me
Blinded by my many sins,
My eyes they cannot see
Then bring unto my mind
Your Word revealed to me
Your law is written on my heart
Your will, my joy shall be

Then I will declare
The wonders of Your hand
Too numerous to count or understand
O Lord You are my Rock
My hope is found in You
O keep me Lord from pride
May I never turn aside

For those who seek the Lord
Are glad and satisfied,
And those who love salvation
Sing, “God be glorified”,
But I am poor and needy,
Lord, I think of me today,
The wicked man pursues me still,
My God, do not delay.

Give to me, my God,
Your tender mercies, show
Your lovingkindness to me, Lord,
Your faith, to me bestow.
Preserve Your truth, my God,
Make haste to come and save,
Be pleased to shame my enemies
Who’d chase me to the grave.

Then I will proclaim
The wonders of Your hand
Your song anew I’ll sing and not refrain
For many men will come
To fear and trust in You
To fill your courts with praise
And rejoice in all Your ways

May those who seek the Lord,
Be glad and satisfied,
And those who love salvation
